Spokane Chiefs get two goals from Hayden Ostir in preseason win over Giants

EVERETT – Hayden Ostir scored twice and the Spokane Chiefs (1-1) beat the Vancouver Giants (1-1) 3-1 in a Western Hockey League preseason game at XFINITY Arena.

Rykr Cole added a goal while Ethan McIndoe and Ty Smith earned assists.

Declan Hobbs made 18 saves while Donovan Buskey was 10 of 11 as the pair split time in net.

The Chiefs face the Seattle Thunderbirds in a preseason game in Everett on Sunday at 3 p.m.
