Man fleeing from Idaho State Police dies after motorcycle crash near Post Falls
A motorcyclist fleeing from the Idaho State Police crashed his motorcycle on Interstate 90 near Post Falls Tuesday and died at the scene.
A trooper attempted to stop the stolen motorcycle as it was going east on I-90 near mile post 7 just after 3:30 p.m., according to the ISP. The rider pulled into the Huetter rest area between Post Falls and Coeur d’Alene. The motorcyclist sped away when the trooper approached and crashed as he was attempting to get back on to the freeway, the ISP said.
The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office is heading up the investigation into the incident.
