Gonzaga-Ohio State will tip at 9 p.m. in PK80 nightcap

Gonzaga’s Thanksgiving Day will stretch late into the night in Portland at the PK80, a loaded, two-bracket tournament honoring Phil Knight’s 80th birthday.

Gonzaga and Ohio State will meet at 9 p.m. on ESPN2 on Thursday, Nov. 23, at Veterans Memorial Coliseum in the nightcap of four games in the Motion bracket. The GU-Ohio State winner and loser face the corresponding Florida-Stanford winner and loser at 6 p.m. or 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 24, at the Moda Center.

The Motion bracket title game will be on ESPN on Sunday, Nov. 26, at 7:30 at the Moda Center. The other half of the Motion bracket has Duke vs. Portland State and Texas vs. Butler.

Openers in the Victory bracket: North Carolina-Portland, Arkansas-Oklahoma, UConn-Oregon and Michigan State-DePaul. The Victory title game will be Sunday at 5:30 p.m.

Zags, Aggies in Spokane

Gonzaga will entertain Utah State on Nov. 18 at the McCarthey Athletic Center in a PK80 non-bracketed preliminary game.

The Aggies finished 14-17 last season, 7-11 in the Mountain West Conference.
