Girls soccer: Gonzaga Prep narrowly defeats Mt. Spokane

Grace Batkoff scored the game’s lone goal and the Gonzaga Prep Bullpups (3-1) defeated the visiting Mt. Spokane Wildcats (1-2) 1-0 in a nonleague girls soccer match on Wednesday.

Mead 2, Lake City 0: Olivia DeShazo scored two goals to lead the Panthers (2-0) to a win over visiting the Timberwolves (2-1) in a nonleague game.

North Central 4, Northwest Christian 0: Izzy Garcia recorded a pair of goals and led the Indians (1-0) to a win over visiting the Crusaders (0-2) in a nonleague game at Merkel Sports Complex.
