A Spokane Valley woman is dead after a head-on collision Monday involving two cars and a log truck along Trent Avenue at Williams Road.

Jillana M. Worrell, 51, died at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center after she was airlifted from the crash scene, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The crash occurred about 12:40 p.m. at Williams Road.

Crash reports indicated that Worrell’s Ford Focus was westbound and veered into the left turn lane and struck an eastbound Jeep Grand Cherokee already in the lane. The Ford then crossed into the eastbound land and hit the log truck head-on.

The drivers of the Jeep and the log truck were not injured.
