Dry Fly ranks among the top 10 vodka distillers in the country

Dry Fly is among the top vodka distillers in the country, according to a recent readers’ poll from USA Today.

The Spokane distillery competed in the USA Today 10best Readers’ Choice Awards after being selected by a panel of American spirits experts. They nominated 20 craft distilleries from around the country in the best vodka category.

Dry Fly fans had until noon Sept. 11 to cast their votes. There was a limit of one vote per person per day for a month.

The 10 winners were announced mid-September. Most work in small batches using locally-sourced ingredients.

Dry Fly came in No. 6. It was the only Pacific Northwest distillery to make the list.

The top two slots went to distillers in Kansas City, Missouri: Tom’s Town and Restless Spirits.
