BEND, Ore. – Authorities say a 23-year-old hiker fell to his death at Smith Rock State Park in central Oregon.
The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office says it appears Sebastian Baker of Vancouver, Washington, was hiking alone on the Misery Ridge trail before falling 250 feet. He died at the scene Tuesday night.
The sheriff’s office says the fall was likely an accident, but it remains under investigation.
