A Rosauers employee won third place and took home a $1,000 prize from a grocery bagging competition Wesdnesday at the Washington State Fair in Puyallup.
Jaycie Knudson, 17, works at the University City Rosauers on Sprague Avenue. She competed against other top baggers in the competition.
Contestants had to pack 34 items into three bags. They were judged on speed, courtesy, how well items were stacked and how evenly the weight of the groceries was distributed among the bags.
