Police arrest suspect in Coeur d’Alene grocery robbery
Coeur d’Alene police have arrested a man they believe robbed Jordan’s Grocery on Wednesday.
Christopher N. Guinasso, 20, was booked into the Kootenai County Jail on a robbery charge.
Police said in a news release that tips from the public responding to pictures of the robber from security cameras helped them link Guinasso to the crime.
A man walked into Jordan’s Grocery, 1036 N. 15th St., about 9 p.m. Wednesday and demanded money while pointing a handgun, Coeur d’Alene police said.
A clerk turned over an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register, and the robber left the area on foot, police said.
