Slowpitch roundup: Emma Todhunter smacks two homers and East Valley handles Gonzaga Prep

East Valley 17, Gonzaga Prep 8: Emma Todhunter drove in seven runs on three hits, including two home runs, and visiting East Valley (3-5) beat Gonzaga Prep (1-6) 17-8 in Greater Spokane League play on Friday.

Addie Meyer also slugged a pair of home runs for the Knights.

Julia Wright and Gracie Cunneely had four hits apiece for the Bullpups.

Mt. Spokane 6, Mead 4: Brittney Coladonato drove in three runs on a pair of hits and Mt. Spokane (4-1) beat visiting Mead (4-3) 6-4.

Jesse Dupuis and Hannah Madsen had three hits apiece for the Wildcats. Ciara Harding went 4 for 4 with an RBI for the Panthers.

Central Valley 12, Lewis and Clark 2: Preslee Pieroni drove in three on a home run and two singles to help Central Valley (5-0) top visiting Lewis and Clark (2-6) 12-2.

Ferris 12-12, Shadle Park 7-4 : Taylor White went 2 for 3 with a grand slam and two-run home run and visiting Ferris (2-4, 2-4) beat Shadle Park (1-4, 1-4) 12-7 in the first game of a doubleheader sweep.

Ferris’ Jailyn Strauss went 4 for 4 in the second game.
