Spokane Valley pot shot employee reportedly robbed at knifepoint

A Spokane Valley pot shop employee told the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office that two men tied him up and robbed the shop on March 28.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the unidentified employee was in the process of closing the Piece of Mind store at 1210 E. First St. around 10 p.m. when the two men entered.

The employee said a man with a knife demanded he get on the ground, according to a news release. The men then reportedly took cash from the register, glass pipes and other store items and fled the scene on foot. The employee wasn’t injured.

Both men were described as 6-foot-2, thin and wearing hooded sweatshirts and bandanas covering their faces, the employee told deputies.
