Gonzaga’s Nick Nolan ties for 11th place at Wyoming Cowboy Classic golf tournament

Gonzaga’s Nick Nolan tied for 11th place Tuesday at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic men’s golf tournament in Chandler, Arizona.

Nolan shot a final-round, 2-under-par 70 to complete three rounds at 4-under 212. GU’s David Ganz tied for 27th at even-par 216.

Medalist Sean Meehan of Texas-San Antonio shot 11-under 205 for a one-shot advantage over McNeese State’s Blake Elliott.

The Zags placed eighth in the 15-team field at 5-under 859. Team champion UTSA finished at 22-under 842 for a four-shot edge on Sam Houston State.
