Softball roundup: Meghan Keenan hit for the cycle with eight RBIs and Shadle Park beat North Central 30-19

Shadle Park 30, North Central 19: Meghan Keenan hit for the cycle on a 6 for 7 day from the plate and the Highlanders beat the Indians. Keenan had eight RBIs for Shadle Park while Harmony Bay slugged a home run for North Central.

Central Valley 22, Ferris 1: Kelsey Gumm drove in six runs including a grand slam and the Bears downed the Saxons.

Mead 9, Gonzaga Prep 4: Peyton Cushner homered and doubled, driving in two runs, and the Panthers downed the Bulldogs.

Mt. Spokane 13, University 7: Jesse Dupuis struck out 10 and went 2 for 4 with two doubles and the Wildcats beat the Titans. Hannah Madsen went 3 for 4 with five RBIs and a double and triple for Mt. Spokane.

Great Northern League

West Valley 8, East Valley 6: Kilee Imada slugged a 3-run home run and the Eagles beat the Knights. Haley McCarthy went 2 for 4 with two RBIs for East Valley and Maddi Thompson went 3 for 4 with a homerun for West Valley.

Northeast A

Medical Lake 7, Freeman 6: Taylor Carpenter hit a game winning solo home run in the top of the seventh and the Cardinals beat the Scotties. Carpenter finished 3 for 4 with two RBIs at the plate, while striking out 11 over seven innings on the mound. McKenna Cottrell went 2 for 4 with an RBI and two doubles for Freeman.

Chewelah 6, Deer Park 2: Zandra Nelson went 2 for 3 with a double and a pair of runs and the Cougars beat the Stags. Courtney Stockman went 2 for 3 with a solo home run for Deer Park.

Northeast 2B

Northwest Christian 16, Springdale 1 (GM1): Jordan Rabe had four RBIs, including a 3-run homer in the first inning, and the Crusaders beat the Chargers.

Northwest Christian 15, Springdale 0 (GM2): Jordan Rabe went 2 for 3 with three RBIs and Elie Frey singled twice and had three RBIs and the Crusaders defeated the Chargers.

Lind-Ritzville/Sprague 10, Davenport 0 (GM1): Hailey Ayers pitched five no-hit innings with four strikeouts and the Broncos beat the Gorillas.

Lind-Ritzville/Sprague 12, Davenport 6 (GM2): Sadie Miller went 4 for 4 with a double and a triple and five RBIs.

Wilbur-Creston 14, Reardan 4 (GM1): Schie Springstead pitched a complete game with 10 strikeouts and the Wildcats downed the Indians.

Reardan 19, Wilbur-Creston 6 (GM2): Payton Abrahamson had three hits and three RBIs and the Indians beat the Wildcats.

Liberty 8, Kettle Falls 7: Madison Greer capped a two-run seventh with an RBI single and the Lancers defeated the Bulldogs. Jocelyn Glover had three RBIs for Kettle Falls.

Almira/Coulee-Hartline 21, Republic 0 (GM1): Gabi Isaak had four hits, three runs scored and three RBIs and the Warriors blanked the Tigers.

Almira/Coulee-Hartline 22, Republic 1 (GM2): Sarah Bradshaw scored four runs on three hits, driving in four, and the Warriors downed the Tigers.

Curlew 11, Northport 10 (GM1): Kayla Engen drove in a walk-off RBI single and the Cougars beat the Mustangs.

Northport 19, Curlew 2 (GM2): Hailey Young pitched a complete game with a strikeout every inning and the Mustangs beat the Cougars.
