Morning prep roundup: Mason Wells’ one-hitter with 11 punchouts gives Mead win over North Central

Baseball: Mason Wells threw a complete game one-hitter with 11 strikeouts and Mead beat North Central 8-1.

Softball: Jaidyn Stephens hit a go-ahead two-run homer in the top of the ninth inning, and Liberty held off Lind-Ritzville/Sprague 11-10.

Alisha Baker led the Broncos with a double and a triple.

Soccer: Brayden Tucker scored the game-winning goal in overtime in the 88th minute and Northwest Christian defeated Newport 4-3 in overtime.
