Man dies in vehicle crash near Colville

A Spokane Valley man was killed Thursday morning after his vehicle left the roadway on U.S. 395, four miles south of Colville.

Gary V. Peck, 71, was northbound in a 2010 Subaru Forester near mile post 223, according to Washington State Patrol, when his vehicle left the road around 7:45 a.m., rolled and landed in creek.

Peck was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
