Morning prep roundup: Gracee Dwyer’s two bombs give University win over North Central

Softball: Gracee Dwyer hit two home runs and Alyssa Benthagen finished 4 for 4 with three doubles and a home run and University (9-4, 9-2) beat visiting North Central (1-13, 1-11) 17-5 on Friday in a Greater Spokane League game.
Baseball: Michael Coumont threw a no-hitter with seven strikeouts and no walks and visiting Freeman (12-2, 6-0) blanked Riverside (5-5, 4-3) 24-0 in a Northeast A league. Ryan Hayek went 5 for 6 with three RBIs for Freeman.
Soccer: Jacob Hughes scored two goals and Gonzaga Prep blanked visiting Mt. Spokane 4-0 in a Greater Spokane League game. Isaiah Damschen recorded a shutout with five saves.
