DNA helps detectives find man accused of stealing AR-15 from Spokane County Sheriff’s deputy’s patrol vehicle

A man was arrested for allegedly stealing an AR-15 rifle from a Spokane County Sheriff’s deputy’s vehicle in December.

Kirk Fisher-Fulton, 29, is charged with theft of a firearm, second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm, second-degree malicious mischief and second-degree vehicle prowling.

According to a report by KHQ, detectives found traces if blood in the patrol vehicle after the alleged theft. A DNA test was submitted to the Washington State Patrol crime lab and Fulton was a match, according to court documents.

Fulton, who has a lengthy criminal record, is in jail on $50,000 bond.
