Minor League Report: Tuesday’s Northwest League and Texas Rangers affiliates results

Around the Northwest League and Texas Rangers affiliates for Thursday’s games.

Northwest League

Spokane 7, Everett 3: Curtis Terry and Jax Biggers hit two-run home runs and the Indians (11-8) beat the visiting AquaSox (9-10).

It was Terry’s league-leading 14th and the first of Biggers’ career.

Starter Tai Teidemann (2-2, 4.28) allowed two runs on two hits and four walks with five strikeouts over 5.2 innings. Reliever Cole Uvila struck out three in 1.2 innings.

J.P. Martinez (3): 0 for 5, K

Tri-City 4, Vancouver 1: Dwanya Williams-Sutton homered and the visiting Dust Devils (7-12) defeated the Canadians (12-7). Henry Henry gave up one run on five hits with no walks and four strikeouts for Tr-City.

Boise 9, Salem-Keizer 5: LJ Hatch went 3 for 5 with two RBIs and the Hawks (7-12) outlasted the visiting Volcanoes (9-10). Cade Harris homered and walked three times for Boise, while Hidekel Gonzalez drove in three.

Hillsboro 6, Eugene 4: Andy Yerzy hit a three-run triple in the seventh and the visiting Hops (12-7) topped the Emeralds (9-10). William Gorman added a solo home run for Hillsboro.

Texas Rangers affiliates

Nashville 8, Round Rock (AAA) 4: Franklin Barreto went 2 for 3 with hit 14th homer of the season and the Sounds (66-55) beat the Express (53-68). Christian Lopes hit his 11th homer for Round Rock. Chris Tillman lasted 11 pitches and gave up three runs on two hits before exiting with a groin strain.

OF Scott Heineman (22): 1 for 4, run, 2Ks

Arkansas 3, Frisco (AA) 0: Ashton Goudeau tossed seven shutout innings and the Travelers (61-59) blanked the RoughRiders (52-69). Goudeau allowed four hits and a walk with three strikeouts. Wei-Chieh Huang struck out five over two innings for Frisco.

Down East (High-A) 8, Carolina 0: Joe Palumbo gave up two hits and three walks with nine strikeouts over 5.1 innings and the Wood Ducks (51-70) beat the visiting Mudcats (57-62). Andretty Cordero went 2 for 4 with two RBIs and Brendon Davis added a solo home run for Down East.
