Two adults were seriously injured in a crash in north Spokane that investigators say involved drunken driving.
The crash occurred at 8:15 p.m. Thursday at Ash Street and Wellesley Avenue, Spokane police said in a news release.
Investigators determined that Audrey Bates’ vehicle struck another car when she ran a red light while intoxicated. She was arrested on two counts of vehicular assault.
Two adults had to be extricated from their vehicle and were transported to a hospital with serious injuries, Spokane police said. KHQ reported that those adults were in the car that Bates, 55, struck.
