Gonzaga ties Oklahoma in women’s soccer; GU volleyball team loses to No. 11 UCLA

Maggie Conners scored in the 80th minute for Gonzaga (1-0-1) before host Oklahoma (1-2-1) tied it in the 89th for a 1-1 women’s soccer draw in Norman on Sunday. The meeting was the first between the two programs.

Isabel Jones made nine saves for Gonzaga while the Bulldogs put nine shots on goal.

Volleyball: Gonzaga (0-2) fell to No. 11 UCLA 25-19, 25-27, 26-24, 25-18 in Los Angeles.

Chapin Gray had 16 kills and Sarah Penner 12 but the Bulldogs hit just .104 against the host Bruins (2-0).
