Girls soccer roundup: Kailyn Labrosse’s hat trick leads Central Valley to season-opening win

Kailyn Labrosse scored a hat trick with an assist and Central Valley (1-0) defeated visiting Curtis (0-1) 4-0 in a nonleague game on Friday.
Gonzaga Prep 5, Kamiakin 3: Erin Ewers scored twice and the Bullpups (1-0) defeated the visiting Braves (0-1).
Lewis and Clark 2, Mt. Spokane 0: Carolyn Moravec scored in both halves — in the 14th minute and the 58th — and the visiting Tigers (1-0) shutout the Wildcats (0-1).
East Valley 3, Ferris 2: Alexa Oliver notched a goal with an assist and the Knights (1-0) edged the visiting Saxons (0-1).
Lake City 2, Sandpoint 1: Chloe Teets had a goal and an assist and the Timberwolves (3-0) beat visiting Sandpoint (2-1).
After a scoreless first half, Sandpoint picked up a quick goal after halftime before Teets assisted on Lily Tweedy’s goal to tie it in the 59th minute. Teets scored the go-ahead goal in the 74th minute off an assist from Maddy Lasher. Haley Jo Parks made eight saves for the Timberwolves.
