Gonzaga standout forward Killian Tillie set for on-schedule return after ankle injury
UPDATED: Sat., Dec. 1, 2018

OMAHA, Neb. – Gonzaga junior forward Killian Tillie’s surgically repaired right ankle is healing on schedule.
Tillie had a checkup earlier this week with his doctor, who told him he’d probably be in a walking boot and on crutches for two more weeks.
Tillie has another doctor’s visit scheduled in two weeks. If everything checks out fine, the 6-foot-10 native of France would be cleared to begin some light conditioning and drill work.
Tillie was expected to miss about eight weeks when he had surgery in late October, which puts him on track to return in late December or early January. The Zags open West Coast Conference play Jan. 5 against Santa Clara at the McCarthey Athletic Center.
Tillie is GU’s top returning scorer from last season at 12.9 points per game. He led the Zags in 3-point shooting accuracy (47.9 percent).
