Rathdrum man dies in hospital from single-car crash Friday in Idaho

A Rathdrum man died in the hospital after single-car crash Friday on U.S. Highway 95.

Michael J. Adams, 50, was driving a 2006 Mercury Milan at 4:20 p.m. Friday on U.S. 95 near the Rockford Bay exit. His car went off the shoulder into a median, according to a news release from the Idaho State Police. The vehicle rolled multiple times, and Adams, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected form the car.

He was taken to the Kootenai Health with life-threatening injuries and died Saturday.
