College basketball: North Idaho’s Emmitt Taylor scores 46 points in men’s victory

Emmitt Taylor scored 46 points, hitting 12 of 27 3-pointers, and host North Idaho (9-1) beat Fairchild AFB 135-70 in nonconference men’s basketball Tuesday.

RayQuan Evans added 26 points and seven assists for NIC, which scored 70 points in the first half.

Women

North Idaho 87, Fairchild AFB 31: Keara Simpson and Anna Schrade scored 14 points apiece to lead five players in double figures as the host Cardinals (5-1) won a nonconference game.

Also for NIC, Halle Eborall had nine rebounds, Simpson added seven assists and Madison Lommen shot 4 for 4 on 3-pointers.
