GSL girls: Ellie Boni’s 25 points help University pull away from Gonzaga Prep

University 71, Gonzaga Prep 54: Ellie Boni scored 25 points and the Titans (5-3, 3-2) pulled away from the visiting Bullpups (6-2, 3-2) in a Greater Spokane League game on Thursday.

U-Hi trailed 36-33 at intermission, but Boni poured in 11 points in the third and the Titans limited G-Prep to seven points in the fourth.

Tyler McCliment-Call added 13 points and Kinsley Barrington 11 for University. Lakin Gardner led G-Prep with 16 points and Grace Hammon added 10.

Lewis and Clark 71, Ferris 38: Jacinta Buckley scored 20 points and the visiting Tigers (7-1, 4-1) beat the Saxons (3-6, 0-5). Mayson Younger led Ferris with 13 points.

Central Valley 68, Mead 34: Tomekia Whitman scored 18 points to lead the visiting Bears (6-1, 4-1) over the Panthers (4-6, 1-4). Camryn Skaife added 12 points for Central Valley while Erica Nessan led Mead with 10 points.

East Valley 51, North Central 24: Faith Adams scored 18 points and the Knights (9-1) topped the visiting Indians (5-3) in a nonleague matchup. Three others scored eight points for EV, while Quincy McDeid led NC with 13 points.
