Police search for suspect in Lincoln Heights gas station robbery
Police are searching for a man who wielded a knife at the Mobil station on the corner of 17th Avenue and Ray Street on Wednesday night and fled with stolen money.
Around 11 p.m. Wednesday, a white male in his 20s, about 5-foot-6 and with a thin build, walked into the gas station, threatened the clerk and demanded money, according to Spokane police.
After getting money, the suspect fled, according to a news release. Police arrived minutes later and used a K9 to try to find the suspect but were unsuccessful.
The man was wearing athletic shoes, a light-colored hoodie and dark pants. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crime Check at (509) 456-2233.
