Girls basketball: Jada Orr’s 16 points leads Wellpinit over Selkirk

Jada Orr scored 16 points and visiting Wellpinit (5-2) overcame Selkirk (4-4) 45-40 in a nonleague game on Friday.

Bree Dawson led Selkirk with 16 points.

Colfax 54, Lakeside (WA) 34: Asher Cai scored 17 points to lead the visiting Bulldogs (3-5) over the Eagles (2-7).

Reardan 32, Odessa 25: Ayden Krupke scored 12 points and the visiting Indians (4-3) downed the Tigers (1-4). Maddy Wagner had seven points and 11 rebounds for Odessa. Kimberly Dewey added 10 points for Reardan.

Oaksdale 43, Genesee 37: Logan Reed scored 18 points to lead the visiting Nighthawks (7-1) over the Bulldogs (6-4).

Northeast 2B

Davenport 58, Lind-Ritzville/Sprague 38: Lainy Jacobsen scored 18 points and the Gorillas (4-2, 1-1) defeated the visiting Broncos (3-5, 1-2). Linnea Schafer led Lind-Ritzville/Sprague with 17 points.

Southeast 1B

St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse 69, Prescott 41: Alynn Harder had 17 points with 12 rebounds and the visiting Eagles (5-2, 2-2) topped the Tigers (1-7, 0-4). Drew Curtis-Brewer added 15 points and 11 rebounds for St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse. Nayeli Flores led Prescott with 14 points.

Colton tournament at Colton HS

Wahkiakum 40, Garfield-Palouse 27: Macie Elliott scored 10 points and the Mules (9-0) defeated the Vikings (5-5) at the Colton Tournament. Kenzi Pedersen led Garfield-Palouse with 21 points and 12 boards.

Colton 61, Asotin 29: Rylee Vining scored 21 points on seven 3-pointers and the Wildcats (7-0) defeated the Panthers (0-7). Adrienne Washington scored 16 points to lead Asotin.

Idaho

Coeur d’Alene 57, Hellgate (MT) 42: Emma Blakely scored 18 points and the Knights (2-2) topped the visiting Vikings (4-6) In a nonleague game. Emma Whiteman led Coeur d’Alene with 12 points.

Timberlake (ID) 39, Sandpoint 23: Brooke Jessen scored 13 points and the visiting Tigers (10-1) defeated the Bulldogs (2-7). Dawson Driggs and Hattie Larson led Sandpoint with nine points apiece.

Bonners Ferry 45, Lakeland 37: Holly Ansley scored 11 points and the visiting Badgers (6-2) defeated the Hawks (2-6) in a nonleague match. Katy Ryan led Lakeland with 14 points and seven rebounds.

Warren 41, Genesis Prep 38: Bella Murekatete scored 21 points but the Jaguars fell to Warren in the third round of the Nike Tournament at Mesquite HS in Phoenix. Genesis Prep faces Desert Ridge (Arizona) in the final round on Saturday.
