Girls basketball: Aspyn Adams leads balanced attack, Mt. Spokane wins 10th-straight

Aspyn Adams scored 10 points and Mt. Spokane (10-0) defeated Snohomish (3-4) 55-32 on Saturday in nonleague action.

Niveya Henley, Averi Adams and Emily Nelson each scored eight points for undefeated Mt. Spokane.

Mead 71, Richland 51: Erica Nessan scored 16 points and the Panthers (5-6) defeated the visiting Bombers (3-5).

Jayda Clark led Richland with 12 points.

Kettle Falls 57, Oroville 26: Mia Edwards scored 19 points including five first quarter 3-pointers and the Bulldogs (6-4) beat the Hornets (1-7).

Colton 56, Wahkiakum 54: Emily Schultheis scored 17 points and the the Wildcats (8-0) defeated the visiting Mules (9-1).

Garfield Palouse 35, Asotin 33: Riley Pedersen scored 20 points and the Vikings (6-4) defeated the Panthers (0-8) at Colton HS.

Kylan Hernandez scored 21 points to lead Asotin.

Genesis Prep 38, Desert Ridge (Ariz.) 33: Bella Murekatete scored 24 points and the Genesis Prep (5-5) beat Desert Ridge (5-13) in Phoenix at the Nike Tournament of Champions.
