Cause of double-wide house fire in Spokane Valley unkown

A double-wide house in Spokane Valley nearly burned to the ground Wednesday night.

The fire at 18614 E. Courtland Ave. started at about 7:30 p.m. A Spokane County Sheriff’s deputy said no one was sent to the hospital as a result of the fire.

A neighbor said he heard a loud bang before the fire began.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
