GSL boys: Anton Watson scores 15 points and Gonzaga Prep tops Lake Oswego in Les Schwab Invite

Anton Watson scored 15 points, Liam Lloyd added 12 and Gonzaga Prep (8-1) beat Lake Oswego (OR) (6-2) 57-45 in the second round of the Les Schwab National Invitational at Liberty (OR) High School in Hillsboro, Oregon, on Thursday.

The game was tied at 27 at intermission. G-Prep clamped down, allowing the Lakers six points in the fourth.

Josh Angle led Lake Oswego with 21 points.

The Bullpups play in a tournament semifinal on Friday at 9 p.m.

Clarke Cochrane Classic

Lewis and Clark 71, Nikiski 26: Griffin Effenberger scored 16 points and the Tigers (4-6) topped the Bulldogs (1-3) in Ketchikan, Alaska. Ben Merritt added 15 points for LC, which plays Palmer in a semifinal on Friday.

Lake City Classic

Lake City 53, Mead 52: Josh Stellflug had 14 points with nine rebounds and five blocks and the Timberwolves (1-6) defeated the Panthers (1-8) at Lake City HS. Tyson Rogalette led Mead with 22 points.

North Central 45, South Kitsap (WA) 43: Kiernan Knight scored 14 points, Leon Sayers had 12 and the Indians (5-4) edged the Wolves (3-3).

Franklin Tourney of Champions

Arbor View (Nevada) 73, University 61: Donovan Yap scored 15 points and the Aggies (11-3) topped the Titans (7-2) at Franklin HS.

Eagle Holiday Classic

Deer Park 60, Rogers 44: Isaac Burgland poured in 28 points, including 12 of 13 from the line, to lead the undefeated Stags (10-0) over the Pirates (2-6) at West Valley HS. Luke Riblet led Rogers with nine points.
