The Satellite invites fans to party like it’s 1998

The Satellite Diner and Lounge is turning 20 and throwing a party to celebrate.

Everyone’s invited.

Guests can enjoy 1998 prices in the diner and the lounge all day Friday, Feb. 23 (and into Saturday morning). Come by from 5 to 9 p.m. to connect with old-timers and special guests.

Photos from throughout the last 20 years will be posted on the walls during the event.

For more details, visit the Satellite’s Facebook page at facebook.com/SatelliteDiner.

This quintessential downtown diner closes for only three hours Monday through Friday and for four hours on weekends. Breakfast is served the rest of the time.

Specialties include the Hot Mess with chopped bacon and sautéed mushrooms and onions on a bed of hash browns, all smothered in Hollandaise sauce and topped off with two eggs. Look, also, for assorted scrambles, omelets, breakfast burritos, eggs Benedict, biscuits and gravy, and more.

The Satellite is open from 7 a.m. to 4 a.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 4 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. It’s at 425 W. Sprague Ave. Call (509) 624-3952. On the web: satellitediner.com.
