Area roundup: Idaho’s Sophie Hausmann ties for 28th at golf tournament in Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS – Idaho’s Sophie Hausmann shot an even-par 72 on Tuesday and finished tied for 28th place at 12-over 228 at the Rebel Beach Invitational at Spanish Trail Country Club.
Hausmann’s Vandals placed ninth in the 12-team field at 55-over 919, 38 shots behind champion UNLV.
Idaho’s Valeria Patino tied for 37th at 230, also closing with a 72.
