Home Street Bank raises minimum wage to $15

The Spokesman-Review

HomeStreet Bank, which has two Spokane locations, has joined other companies in raising its minimum wage to $15 per hour.

The Seattle-based bank has 111 branches in seven states. Bank officials said the higher wage comes on the heels of recent federal tax reform, which cut the corporate tax rate from 35 percent to 21 percent.

The new minimum wage is in effect for all employees who don’t receive commissions. Two Washington cities, Seattle and SeaTac, already have $15 minimum wage requirements for large employers.
