Pam Styborski placed fifth overall with a score of 34.4 and University placed first in team scoring with 168.85 in the University Invitational on Thursday. Styborski also tied for first in Beam. Anna Johnson found herself in a tie for third place for University in the Vault.
Ferris placed fifth overall and was led by Jessica Harpel who took first in All-Around with 36.75. Harpel also placed first in the vault and had second place finishes in both the Floor and Bars.
Mt. Spokane tied with Mead for second place in team scoring with 167.75. Carly Hattenburg led the Wildcats with 35.15 in a third place finish for All-Around. Kimberly Sevy took first in the Floor. Zella Conley led Mead with a 2nd overall finish with 36.45. Conley also placed second in Vault, tied for first in Beam and third in Bars. Sophia Shawen also placed for the Panthers with a third place tie in Vault.
Central Valley placed fourth with 166.9 and was led by Rebekah Ross who placed fourth overall with 34.65. Ross also tied for second in the Floor event. Victoria Axtell tied for first place in Beam for the Bears.
