UPDATED: Thu., Jan. 18, 2018

Two Spokane business leaders will head statewide organizations this year.

Betsy Cowles, the chair of Cowles Co., which publishes The Spokesman-Review, has been named 2018 chair of Washington Roundtable.

The nonprofit organization is made up of private sector employers working on public policy issues related to the state’s economic vitality.

Michael Senske, president and CEO of Pearson Packaging Systems, is chair of the Association of Washington Business.

AWB is Washington’s oldest and largest statewide business association. It serves as the state’s chamber of commerce and the manufacturing and technology association.
