Wrestling: Brandon Iris records a 48 second pin and Freeman defeats Deer Park

Brandon Iris pinned his opponent in 48 seconds and the Scotties narrowly beat the Stags 37-33 on Thursday. Logan Holt recorded a major decision in a 15-2 win for Freeman.

Gabe Sanchez recorded a 53 second pin at 285 pounds for Deer Park.

Medical Lake 55, Lakeside 19: Skyler Peterson won a 9-8 decision at 106 pounds and the Cardinals defeated the Eagles. Ako Yamada recorded a pin in 21 seconds at 195 pounds for Lakeside.

University 67, Lewis and Clark 8: Josh Sanders logged a 22 second pin at 170 pounds and University defeated Lewis and Clark. Israel Alvarez won an 11-4 decision at 160 pounds for Lewis and Clark.

Coeur d’Alene 58, Lake City 24: Art Gustin won a 6-2 decision at 195 pounds and Coeur d’Alene defeated Lake City. Caden Hess recorded a pin in one minute and 11 seconds for Lake City.
