GSL girls: No. 1 Central Valley romps over North Central

Lexie Hull led Central Valley with 25 points and the Bears (18-0, 12-0) beat North Central (10-9, 5-5) 75-15 in Greater Spokane League play on Friday.

Lacie Hull finished with eight points and registered her 1,000th career point in the win for CV, rated No. 1 in WIAA’s RPI system. Camryn Skaife added 12 points for the Bears, who led 33-5 at intermission.

Elyce Piper paced North Central with 10.

Gonzaga Prep 49, Mead 39: Mia Scelfo scored 17 points and the Bullpups (11-7, 7-5) defeated the visiting Panthers (7-11, 5-7).

G-Prep pulled away with a 13-7 run in the fourth quarter.

Lindsey Russell scored 12 points to pace the Panthers.

University 62, Mt. Spokane 36: Ellie Boni scored 29 points with three 3-pointers and the Titans (12-5, 9-3) beat the Wildcats (9-9, 5-5).

Claire Dingus added 12 points for University.

Emily Nelson led Mt. Spokane with 16 points.

Lewis and Clark 68, Shadle Park 23: Jacinta Buckley notched 16 points with eight boards and the Tigers (12-4, 10-2) rolled past the visiting Highlanders (2-16, 1-9).

Kaylee Bishop scored 15 points on five 3-pointers and Dominique Arquette added 11 for Lewis and Clark, while Macey Grant had six steals. LC limited Shadle to single-digit scoring in each of the four quarters.

Willow Risinger led Shadle Park with seven points.

Ferris 65, Rogers 30: Bailey Warnica posted a career-high 14 points with five steals and five assists and the Saxons (3-15, 2-10) defeated the visiting Pirates (1-17, 0-10).

Kate Lyden added 12 points and Ashland Campbell had 11 for Ferris. Akon Aleu led Rogers with 18 points.
