Spokane’s best coffee in Sandpoint

Excellent article last Sunday on Spokane’s coffee culture (“Spokane’s coffee economy,” Jan. 14). But I’m surprised you didn’t mention Sandpoint, Idaho, as you often do regarding such things as food, music and sports in the region. I remember not too many years ago when the joke, even among some in Spokane, was that Spokane’s best restaurants were in Sandpoint. That, of course, was not true back then, but it was close.

Getting to the point. Spokane’s best coffee and culture is Evans Brothers Coffee Roasters in Sandpoint. Bring your dog and enjoy. I pay about $1,600 per year for heaven. Great coffee and community. No subject is too sacred for arguments and insults.
