St. Joe Ranger District seeks volunteer campground hosts

The St. Joe Ranger District is looking for volunteer campground hosts.

The volunteer job would start Memorial Day weekend and last through Labor Day, Friday through Monday, according to a news release.

Hosts answer questions about the campground and local area. Hosts also address problems within the camp site and help clean and maintain the campground.

Hosts receive training, a uniform and a campsite. They must bring their own tent, trailer, camper or motor home, according to the news release.

These campgrounds need hosts: Shadowy St. Joe Campground, Upper Landing Picnic and Day Use Area, Emerald Creek Campground, Big Creek Campground, and Turner Flat Campground.

Applicants may be subject to a criminal background check. Positions will remain open until filled.
