Two Spokane companies honored among Seattle magazine’s ‘100 Best Companies’

Two Spokane firms appeared on Seattle Business magazine’s 2018 list of 100 best companies to work for in the state.

Provisional Recruiting and Staffing, with 16 employees, was named the tops among small businesses.

“Provisional is the most open and friendly company. … We are truly a team, with no decision being made without a team discussion,” an employee wrote during a confidential assessment.

The Spokane office of Hayden Homes was the top company for firms headquartered outside of Washington. Hayden Homes’ corporate headquarters is in Redmond, Oregon.

Since 1989, the home builder has constructed more than 14,000 residences in Washington, Oregon and Idaho.

Spokane-based vacation apartment rental company Stay Alfred was ranked 21st among the state’s mid-sized companies headquartered in the state.

Companies must nominate themselves to be considered for the 100 best companies list. Employees respond to a survey by the research firm Fieldwork Webwork. The survey ranks employees’ anonymous responses in areas such as corporate culture, executive leadership and workplace environment.

The list of “100 Best Companies” appears in the July edition of Seattle Business.
