Applebee’s raises money to fight childhood cancer

Applebee’s is teaming up with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation to raise money to fight childhood cancer.

Through Aug. 12, more than 1,050 participating Applebee’s restaurants aim to raise $1 million for medical research.

Applebee’s locations throughout Washington and Idaho will donate funds from lemonade pin-ups and a portion of sales from specific lemonade drinks.

This is Applebee’s 14th year supporting Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.

Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation was established in 2005 to continue the mission of 4-year-old Alex, who set up a lemonade stand to help raise money for all childhood cancers while she was also fighting the disease.
