Peace for the veteran

As a former ground pounder in the Marines with two purple hearts in Vietnam, I consider myself qualified to comment on moving the memorial.

Please don’t.

Let the man enjoy the shade. Let him enjoy the peaceful surrounding of the river. Anyone who cares about Vietnam veterans knows where to find him 24/7.

Don’t put him in that giant slab of a parking lot at the arena or even inside with all the vendors and noisy people.

Look at the statue. The man needs peace.
