Learn to make Adam Hegsted’s German-style soft pretzels

The Gilded Unicorn is sharing chef Adam Hegsted’s secret recipe for traditional German-style soft pretzels.

During the June 21 workshop, guests will learn how to shape pretzels into their particular cross formation as well as how to make Hegsted’s beer-cheese dip and stone-ground mustard-beer sauce.

The best part: guests will get to eat a warm pretzel and sample the two beers that are used in the dips. Plus, they’ll receive a zip-top bag of dough to make their own pretzels at home.

The class is at 6:30 p.m. June 21 at Gilded Unicorn, 110 S. Monroe St. Sign-ups are going on now. The cost is $30 plus tax person or $50 plus tax per couple. Call (509) 309-3698.
