Mark your calendar: Spokane’s fifth annual vegan food festival is July 28.
Spokane VegFest Healthy Living Expo and Music Festival promotes the ethical, environmental and health benefits of a vegan lifestyle as well as aims to introduce people to products that are vegan and free from animal testing.
The event features eco- and animal-friendly exhibitors, presentations, cooking demonstrations, live music, an outdoor market, food trucks and more.
Admission is free.
More than 3,000 people are expected to attend.
Speakers include animal rights activist Patrik Baboumian and plant-based dietician and author Sharon Palmer.
The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Spokane Community College, 1810 N. Greene St.
