U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue will visit Spokane, Colfax and Pullman on Monday.

U.S. Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers will welcome Perdue, and the two will meet directly with farmers and agriculture leaders to hear first-hand about Eastern Washington’s agriculture priorities, according to a news release.

They will attend three events on Monday: Breakfast with representatives from the agriculture and forestry sectors; lunch with local agriculture producers; and meetings with Washington State University leadership at the school’s plant growth facility in Pullman, the news release stated.
