One arrested, no shots fired in incident that brought heavy police presence downtown Friday night
Businesses went into temporary lockdown and more than a dozen Spokane Police vehicles converged on downtown Spokane Friday night following reports of a possible active shooter.
Police quickly determined that no shots had been fired. One man, Max D. Zidrashko, 21, was taken into custody and later booked into Spokane County Jail on charges of carrying a dangerous weapon.
Spokane police credited River Park Square Security with identifying the suspect.
