Weekend weather: Warmer with rain and wind followed by sun

Warm weather, rain and wind are expected through the end of the week. But the sun should make an appearance this weekend.

On Thursday there is a chance of rain and snow showers before 9 a.m., according to the National Weather Service. However, a high of 53 degrees will prevent any snow accumulation. The chance of precipitation is 80 percent.

More rain is expected on Thursday night before 10 p.m. with a low near 40 degrees. Wind gusts as high as 30 mph could occur. There is an 80 percent chance of precipitation, the Weather Service reports.

Friday there is a 40 percent chance of rain showers with a high near 52 degrees. Wind gusts could reach 25 mph. Friday night is expected to be partly cloudy with a low of 30.

Saturday should be sunny with a high near 53 degrees. Sunday should be much the same with sun and a high of 55.
