S-R’s Molly Quinn an artist

I think that many readers take for granted the high-quality contributions that graphics artist (emphasis on artist) Molly Quinn provides to The Spokesman-Review. I find her line drawing portraits of the columnists to be a nice touch, classier than photos.

I am prompted to write this letter to thank her for the water color of the Ponderosa pine in the February 17 edition. That painting was so striking that I ripped out the page and have it hanging on the wall. She should consider displaying it in some gallery.
