Spring street sweeping is underway in residential areas of Spokane Valley and will continue through early July.
To help crews complete sweeping more quickly, community members are asked to remove items such as basketball hoops, bicycles, and trailers from the roadway.
Leaves and debris from private property should also be kept off the roadway.
Drivers are urged to use caution when approaching or passing street sweeping vehicles to avoid dust and debris that might be swept into the air.
A map showing areas of the city where street sweeping is underway can be found on the City’s website at www.spokanevalley.org/StreetMaintenance.
