Inland Imaging of Spokane will merge with a Tri-Cities radiology practice to form a group of nearly 90 radiologists.

The merger with Columbia Basin Imaging will be effective in September. Officials said combining the groups will create one of the larger radiology practices in the West.

Inland Imaging has been operating in Spokane since 1930, serving hospitals and clinics in Washington, North Idaho and Western Montana. The group’s radiologists also own Inland Imaging Business Associates, a company that provides radiology business and IT services to clients.

Columbia Basin Imaging has provided radiology services at Kadlec Regional Medical Center for more than 30 years.
